Approximately 60% of the route is off-road, consisting of good gravel, hard-packed mud, grass, and some technical rocky sections, while the remaining 40% is on paved roads.
The long route is considered very challenging with significant climbs and technical off-road sections. The medium route is also tough, featuring regular climbs and is particularly challenging technically, suitable for experienced off-road riders.
Gravel bikes are recommended for this route, though a hardtail mountain bike would also be suitable. Participants are advised to use wider, all-rounder gravel tires (40-50mm).
