Rider fit

Who it's for

This event is suitable for experienced gravel cyclists who are well-prepared for demanding climbs, long distances, and self-supported navigation on rugged terrain.

Who will struggle

Riders lacking endurance, climbing ability, or comfort with unmarked routes and potentially long hours in the saddle, especially without lights, will find the longer distances exceptionally difficult.

Training focus

Training should prioritize sustained power output for climbing, long rides on varied gravel surfaces, and developing strong navigation skills using GPS devices, with an emphasis on time management to meet cut-offs.
