The race features a 60/40 split of gravel and dirt to tarmac sections, with significant climbing and challenging descents.
Riders must reach the 2nd Aid Station (event mile 27) by 10 AM SHARP to continue on the course. Failing to do so means disqualification from scoring.
Due to the remote nature and narrow roads, spectators are only allowed at the Start, Circleville, and the Finish. Driving on the course is prohibited.
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drink, gels, fruit, and snacks. Riders must use the self-serve stations and not rely on outside support.
Awards are given to the top 3 finishers in each category, with the Elite Men/Women categories awarding the top 5.
