It is a self-supported, non-stop bikepacking race where riders must carry all their necessities and navigate using GPS. Support is only provided at three compulsory checkpoints.
Yes, there are specific cut-off times for each of the three checkpoints (3, 7, and 10 days) and the final finish line, requiring completion of the entire race within 15 days by 8 am on April 20, 2027.
The entry fee covers a pre-race dinner and breakfast, food and basic accommodation at the three compulsory checkpoints, race office support, emergency evacuation organization, event merchandise, access to professional photos/videos, and a finisher's trophy. It excludes pre/post-race accommodation, tracker rental, and most food/accommodation during the race.
Entries are limited to 100 riders, with 25 of those specifically reserved for international riders and serious podium contenders.
