Riders can choose from four distinct routes: the 370-mile Original route with extensive singletrack, the highly challenging 400-mile option, the 325-mile LiTe route designed for gravel bikes with almost no singletrack, and the 330-mile HeaVy route which adds more singletrack and primitive sandy connectors without any river crossings.
No, this is a self-contained and self-supported adventure. Riders must carry all necessary gear, navigate on their own, and secure their own food and shelter, though participants are allowed to assist one another and pre-arrange lodging.
For the 325-mile LiTe gravel route, a minimum tire width of 45mm is recommended to handle the mix of dirt, gravel, and unpaved roads.
Yes, there is a strict completion deadline. All riders participating in the event must be off the course by 11:00 AM on February 11th.
