FAQs

What are the different participation options?+

Riders can choose to compete in the full four-stage event from Thursday to Sunday, or opt for a shorter two-stage format on Saturday and Sunday. Younger competitors in the cadet and junior categories can sign up specifically for the fourth stage.

What kind of terrain can I expect?+

The course takes you through a mix of fast flowing trails, technical singletrack, volcanic sand, lava fields, and steep ascents, particularly around the highest points of the island.

Are E-bikes allowed to participate?+

Yes, E-bikes are welcome in their own leisure category, with dedicated start times and a slightly modified route for Stage 3 (53 km instead of the standard 83 km).

What is included with my race registration?+

Your entry fee covers race organization, traffic management, timing, on-course nutrition at aid stations, a participant jersey, a bike bottle, accident insurance, and a finisher medal and certificate upon completing the final stage.

Is there a cancellation policy if I cannot attend?+

Yes, partial refunds are available depending on when you cancel. You can get a 75% refund until March 3, 2026, 50% until May 3, 2026, and 25% until July 20, 2026, after which no refunds are issued.
