What are the available race distances?+

The Range offers four distinct routes: The Rodeo (60km), The Rustler (85km), Classic Range (122km), and 4iiii Frontier (211km).

Are e-bikes allowed?+

E-bikes are permitted on The Rodeo (60km) course only; they are not allowed on The Range, The Frontier, or The Rustler courses.

What does my entry include?+

Every participant receives an event T-shirt (guaranteed if registered before June 1, 2026), a custom bike plate, a food & beverage wristband, a $100 USD discount code for the NEW Rough Rider event, course support, aid stations, bike support, sweepers, and a finish line lunch.

Where is the race start/finish and event headquarters?+

The race begins and ends at Centennial Park and Campground in Claresholm, Alberta, which also serves as the central hub for race-day activities and offers camping options.

What are the race categories and awards?+

Race categories include Open Men, Open Women, Men 50+, Women 50+, and Non-Binary. Overall winners of The Range and 4iiii Frontier courses receive a coveted Range Belt Buckle, and podium awards are given to the top three finishers in each category for both distances. There are also draw prizes, a Sector Challenge, and Pioneer & Perseverance Awards.

What is the cancellation, transfer, and deferral policy?+

TransRockies Inc. does not issue refunds under any circumstances. Transfers to another participant may be permitted at the discretion of TransRockies Inc. for a $25 admin fee, completed by July 5, 2026. Deferrals are also permitted under specific guidelines.
