The course is predominantly gravel, making up 99.7% of the route, with only 400 meters of tarmac near the finish. It traverses remote backcountry, including stream crossings and areas resembling 4-wheel drive country.

Are there cut-off times during the race?+

Yes, there are three specific cut-off times: 11:00 AM at approximately 55km (Severn-Sedgemere Road), 12:15 PM at approximately 75km (Rainbow Road), and a final cut-off at the finish line by 4:00 PM.

Will water stations or aid be available on the course?+

Water and R-Line will be provided at the 75km mark, with a smaller water station around 100km, and water at the finish. Due to the remote nature of the course, no other water stations or bag drops will be available.

What essential gear is recommended for riders?+

Riders are advised to carry an emergency blanket or bag, a waterproof jacket (especially if wet weather is forecast), and chain oil, as conditions can be dry and dusty. E-bike riders must carry two spare batteries.
