The route covers approximately 136km (84 miles) with about 1880m of climbing, split over two days with an overnight camp.
Mountain bikes and gravel bikes are recommended, with a minimum tire size of 45mm. E-bikes are permitted but participants must inform the organizers upon registration.
The £99 entry includes a GPX file for navigation, an electronic rider briefing, a support vehicle for rescues, an overnight campsite, an evening meal, and breakfast.
Participants must carry a helmet, front and rear lights, sufficient water, an emergency blanket or sleeping bag, a waterproof jacket, first aid kit, phone or GPS for navigation, a multitool, spare tube, tire levers, puncture repair kit, a tent/bivvy bag/tarp, and their own bowl, mug, fork, and spoon.
This is a non-timed, self-supported reliability trial with an overnight camping stop. Participants are responsible for their own navigation as the course is unmarked.
The event starts on Saturday at 9 am and finishes on Sunday afternoon/evening, both at the YHA in Whitby.
