The race features 50 miles of unique and epic singletrack, traversing terrain influenced by the volcanic Cascade Mountains, including areas referred to as "lava."
Entry includes a custom Ring of Fire t-shirt or socks, a custom event plate, a quality meal after the race, a beverage token for 10 Barrel West Side, and access to amazing single-track with support.
The top 5 overall men and women receive cash prizes. Custom medals are awarded to the top 3 in each age group. Overall champions and age group champions receive free entry to the next year's event if they sign up before New Year's Day.
Packet pickup is available on Friday from 2-5 pm at a TBD location, and on Saturday from 7-8:30 am at Wanoga Snow Park before the race start.
A rider meeting is held at 8:45 am, with the race starting at 9 am. Racers must ride by the rules of the road from Wanoga Snow Park to the Meissner start point.
Basic first aid and Ham Radio support from ARES of Bend are on course. Helmets are required at all times while on the bike. Riders must report DNF and any significant injuries to officials and are encouraged to assist fallen riders. Roads and crossings remain open to traffic and other trail users, requiring constant vigilance.
