Participants can enter the Youth category (up to 1 lap / 50km), Weekend Warriors (up to 2 laps / 100km), Mini Munga Mob (up to 5 laps / 250km), or the Munga Maniacs (more than 5 laps up to 500km). E-bikes are also permitted.
The race utilizes a single 52km loop starting and ending at Laerskool Witpoort. It features non-technical terrain, consisting mostly of quiet farm roads, dirt tracks, and occasional jeep tracks with 378 meters of climbing per lap.
Yes, family and friends have full access to the transition area at the start/end of each loop to provide support, encouragement, and assistance.
While beverages are supplied at the transition area, all riders are required to bring and manage their own food for the duration of the event.
All off-road bikes are permitted, including gravel bikes, mountain bikes, tandems, and e-bikes.
