Mad Gravel features the Mad Cross cyclocross race on Saturday and three gravel options on Sunday: the Hemi, Hemi Five-O, and Hemi Hustle.
The gravel courses deliver epic terrain, punchy climbs, quick descents, and wide-open spaces, all on 100% gravel and dirt roads in the Colorado Front Range and Elbert County.
E-Bikes are allowed for the Hemi Hustle event only.
Helmets are mandatory for all participants, and aerobars are not allowed on any course.
Elbert County roadways are always open for pre-riding, and all three Hemi courses can be accessed from the sports park in downtown Elbert. However, Peaceful Valley Ranch itself is not open to the public.
At the finish, you can expect a post-race BBQ (Sunday), live music, and a killer awards ceremony held on the huge deck overlooking the venue.
