Riders can choose from three distances: 110 miles, 54 miles, and 26 miles.
The course primarily utilizes well-maintained Forest Service and county gravel roads, with paved sections at the start and finish in Grand Marais, plus some rough two-track on the longest route.
Organizers recommend using bicycles that can accommodate tires between 35 mm and 45 mm wide.
