📍 Singen, Germany
Eifel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany · 12 September 2026
Difficulty: 4/5 — Very hard
This demanding 186 km gravel and mountain bike challenge in the Eifel region features a unique backyard-ultra elimination format with 3,100 meters of total elevation. Riders must complete a scenic but steep 18.6 km loop every hour to remain in the competition.
Visit official site →It is designed for endurance cyclists and mountain bikers who enjoy tactical pacing, elimination-style challenges, and riding under strict time constraints.
Cyclists who lack the stamina for repeated steep climbs or those who struggle to recover quickly within short, fixed intervals will find this format highly challenging.
Training should concentrate on aerobic endurance, repeatable high-intensity climbing efforts, and optimizing quick recovery techniques between sets.
Compare your W/kg to see how you stack up against this race's typical level — and which races fit you best right now.
A new 18.6 km lap begins every hour on the hour. You must complete the lap and be back in the starting area within 60 minutes to qualify for the next round; arriving even a minute late results in elimination.
Any time left over after you complete a lap can be used to rest and recover, but you cannot begin the next lap until the start of the next hour.
If you successfully complete all 10 rounds of the event, you will accumulate 186 kilometers of distance and 3,100 meters of total climbing.
The tenth and final round is the deciding lap, where the rider with the fastest single-lap time wins the event.
You can participate with any fully functional gravel bike or mountain bike, provided it does not have a motor.
