The Gravel Weekend offers two main distances for participants: 75 km and 140 km.

What is the course terrain like?+

The course features predominantly rolling terrain with continuous short climbs, despite Latvia being generally flat. Surfaces vary, including hard-packed gravel, narrow forest roads, wider gravel roads, farm roads, and some old tarmac sections (approx. 12km on the long course). There are also two short single-track sections and occasional sandy or loose gravel parts.

How difficult is the Gravel Weekend course?+

The course is continuously rolling with short climbs that last two to three minutes, making it more challenging than a flat ride. It includes fast sections, but also some slower parts with short sandy forest roads and loose gravel, plus two short single-track sections.

How can I get to Tukums, Latvia?+

Tukums is a 60km drive from Riga. You can drive, or take a train from Riga, which takes just over an hour. If flying into Riga Airport, you can rent a car for less than an hour's drive to Tukums, or take a bus to Riga city center and then a train.
