The long course is 47.6 miles (76.6 km) with approximately 4,629 feet (1411 meters) of elevation gain. The short course is 27.1 miles (43.6 km) with about 2,313 feet (705 meters) of elevation gain.
Riders will navigate a mix of surfaces, primarily dirt and gravel roads, with some paved sections and a small amount of singletrack towards the end of the course.
Both races start and finish at Wag Valley Farm (formerly REEB Ranch) in Hendersonville, N.C. On race day, September 5, 2026, registration opens at 7:00 AM, the long course starts at 8:30 AM, and the short course begins at 9:00 AM. Post-race meals and awards ceremonies follow.

There are no transfers or deferrals under any circumstances, though transfers might be considered if the race sells out and a waitlist participant can take the spot. Refunds are 75% until May 31, 2026, and 50% until July 31, 2026. No refunds are available after July 31, 2026.
