The departure point for all routes is München, Regierungsbezirk Oberbayern, Bavaria, Germany.
Cowlands 2026 offers four routes: 1100 km (20000 m elevation), 772 km (10600 m elevation), 535 km (9300 m elevation, for gravel bikes), and 404 km (4300 m elevation).
The event is designed for both gravel bikes and road bikes.
The routes traverse beautiful, scenic, playful, and challenging roads through Bavaria and the Alps, suitable for bikepacking adventures.
