What are the different route options and their climbing profiles?+
There are three options: the 85-mile Ram's Horn Escape with 10,000 feet of climbing, the 50-mile Little Bighorn with 5,700 feet of climbing, and the 20-mile Gravel Curious containing roughly 2,000 feet of climbing.
Can I ride an e-bike in this event?+
E-bikes are permitted exclusively on the non-competitive 20-mile Gravel Curious course. They are strictly prohibited on the 50-mile and 85-mile routes.
What setup is recommended for the rugged terrain?+
Participants are advised to ride either a modern gravel bike or a hardtail mountain bike, equipped with tires at least 38mm wide and protective tire liners to prevent flats.
Am I allowed to have a personal support crew on the course?+
No, personal support crews are not permitted along the race routes. All nutrition and hydration must be self-carried or obtained from the neutral aid stations run by event staff.
Where does the race start and are there post-race amenities?+
The race starts and finishes at Gypsum Town Hall. For post-ride needs, participants can purchase day passes to access the showers and facilities at the Gypsum Rec Center.
